Adult Choir
Rehearsals - Thursdays at 7:00 PM in the Choir Loft
Primary Ministry - 9:30 AM Sunday Liturgy (except Advent & Lent), Holy Week, and Sacred Triduum.
Presently, the Adult Choir is comprised of approximately 50 persons. Any confirmed parishioner is eligible to be considered for membership. There is no process of audition. Primary, anyone interested should come to rehearsal to experience our procedures and discover a comfort level in relationship to the four ranges: Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass. Many current members do not read music, but they have been able to understand theory concepts presented in the course of a rehearsal session. Enthusiasm for worship and commitment to the schedule are the only two "requirements" for membership, with a strong goal of working with others in harmony.

Primary Ministry - First Friday School Liturgies & select Sunday 11:30 AM Liturgies
Presently, the Elementary School Choir program is comprised of approximately 108 students from Grades 4 - 8. Members in Grade 4 comprise the DCES Chorus. The Choir is made up of members from Grades 5 - 8. They learn more intricate aspects of choral music and are primarily responsible for descants, harmonies and solos. Any child parishioner is eligible for membership, whether or not he/she attends DC Elementary School. Consideration is given to those outside the school community with regard to zero hour sessions. In addition to liturgical ministry, the choir presents an annual winter musical, a Christmas concert in conjunction with the DCES Bands, and the Living Stations of the Cross on Palm Sunday evening. Members are also encouraged to participate in the school-wide "Spotlight on DCES" talent show in the spring.
